Mila's first birthday!!!

Mila turned one today. I really can't believe how fast this year went by... She had a wonderful first birthday! Happy Birthday Mila!! :-)

In her birthday girl shirt at daycare:

Mila LOVED being sung to tonight - here is video of the event. Mom forgot to bring the cord to download pictures from the camera to Albany so I will have to post more this weekend!

Mila Walking!!!

Well Mila took her first real steps tonight at Poppies house -- just 2 weeks before her first birthday. She has been sooooooo close for about a month now and tonight she finally took more than 3-4 steps at a time. We are so proud of her!! Here is a little video of the event, and some new pictures. Hope everyone is doing well!!

Updates...

So - Mila and I are now spending most of our time in Albany, NY! I am working on a new project for IBM at the State of NY. Will mean lots of flying back and forth to Michigan on the weekends, but it is nice to be with family during the week. They are even putting us up in a nice apartment. Mila has adjusted very well to her new day care and spending lots of time with her Poppie and Grammies! :-) She is VERY close to being able to walk on her own. Growing up so fast! I will try to post video of that soon... in the meantime here are some updated pictures.

Mila with her virst Valentine's Day present from Daddy (teddy bear) -- he sent it to her in NY, and she LOVES it :-)

Mila and Poppie in her new window at the apartment. We have quite the view of the Mohawk river and mountains! Will be really nice in the summer.

Mila's new favorite food -- mac and cheese. Who can blame her, it's one of my favorites too!!

Mila really likes to "explore" in the kitchen. Mommy leaves a few cabinets open for her to play with. You can tell that she THINKS shes in trouble in these shots - too cute!!

New Videos & Pics

Mila continues to make us laugh -- here are a few videos of her new talents and bravery! Also a picture of what happens when you give a 10 month old squeezable yogurt!! :-)

Mila has learned how to "Shake it" :-)

Mila has little to no fear at this point -- she usually lucks out and manages to land safely!!
