Back to work...

Well my maternity leave came to an end 2 weeks ago now and I had to return to work. I think the transition has been a lot harder for me than it has been for Mila, but we both seem to be doing OK. I just really miss being able to spend the whole day with her since she is such a happy baby!! I think she actually really enjoys day care as they keep her busy with lots of new things and faces to look at and interact with. Work for me is pretty much the same, but at least it keeps me very busy so the day goes by pretty fast and it is nice to be getting paid again! ;-)

Here is Mila in her very Patriotic Fourth of July Outfit from Grandpa and Grannie Frannie. This was taken on the Fourth right before Mommy and Mila went shopping to buy Mommy new clothes for work!

Here is Mila practicing sitting up. She is getting pretty close to being able to do it on her own! I can't believe how big she is getting. She can grab toys now very well and of course wants to put everything in her mouth!

Grandpa Mulligan and Grannie Frannie are here for a visit this week, and we took Mila to the pool for the first time today! She seems to really like the water and looks so cute in her little hat and bathing suit!!

11 Weeks Old

Mila is 11 weeks old today! I can't believe how fast the time goes. She is now smiling and "talking" like crazy :-) Cooing and making all kinds of noises. She really likes the pattycake song and any kind of squeaky toy!

Visit with Grammie & Aunt Molly and Other New Pics

Grammie and Aunt Molly came to visit us a few weeks ago! We had lots of fun girl time :-). Here is a picture of all of us together. Mila has terrible red or just scary eyes here, but it is still a cute picture!

Mila is now smiling. She just gets cuter and happier every day. She even slept through the night for me last night!
